Both wrong, hopelessly wrong!

        This is just another version, a larger version of Gaza.  Khamenei  and Trump were both wrong, hopelessly wrong!
        First,  Khamenei: They say for 47 years,  Iran has hardly made any economic progress. It could have been foretold 47 years ago!  No religion shows you how to run a modern industrial state.
        Next, Trump: My book, A Whole New Country, says about Arab Muslim civilization the following:
         “ …. but Arab civilization was the very latest in history before the advent in the Western world of modern science and technology. In fact, Arab civilization acted as a bridge between ancient Greek learning and Western civilization. During the time of the Dark Ages in Europe, many valuable works in Greek and Hebrew were first translated into Arabic before being translated again into Latin. If not for Arab scholarship in this regard at that critical time, many works might have been irretrievably lost to the Western world.
        Had it maintained its exceptional lead, Arab civilization, not the West , might well have become the birthplace and then the cradle of modern science and technology. But that was not to be. Why? How did it lose the head-on advantage it had already secured over Europe?”
        Now, this war!  What an enormous bungle! The United States needed to become the teacher and Iran, the pupil!  History requires that they be friends, not enemies! Just a larger version of Hamas and Israel in Gaza. All poor, aspiring Muslim nations and even the U.S., please note. - AB
